This policy explains how Skrivora collects, uses, stores, and protects user data when using the AI academic workspace, including Google Drive integration for PDF/DOCX templates.

Data we collect

  • Account data such as name, email, university, faculty, study program, and language preference.
  • Academic project data created or uploaded by users, including titles, outlines, chapters, references, citations, revisions, and document templates.
  • Credit transactions, AI feature usage, export history, notifications, and support tickets.
  • Technical data such as IP address, user agent, security logs, and analytics events needed to keep the service safe and stable.

Google Drive access

  • Skrivora only accesses Google Drive after the user connects Drive from the dashboard.
  • Access is used to show PDF/DOCX file metadata so users can choose their own academic template files.
  • Skrivora does not sell Drive data, delete user Drive files, or process Drive files that are not selected for the feature.
  • Users can disconnect Google Drive anytime from the Skrivora dashboard or Google account settings.

Academic document usage

  • Documents, templates, and extraction results are used to help users prepare export formatting that matches academic requirements.
  • Users remain responsible for reviewing, understanding, and taking responsibility for all outputs created with Skrivora assistance.
  • Skrivora is not a replacement for lecturers, supervisors, reviewers, or academic institutions.

Security and storage

  • Sensitive secrets and tokens are stored with server-side encryption.
  • Database, file, and API access are limited based on operational need.
  • Audit logs and access controls are used to reduce misuse risk.

User rights

  • Users may request correction or deletion of account data, subject to legal, security, and transaction record requirements.
  • Users may stop using the service at any time.
  • Users may revoke Google Drive access from the Skrivora dashboard or Google Account Permissions.
